Introduction

What to expect:

• Prepare forecasts / budget / adhoc Financial analysis and reports for the Business Units;
• Control / analyze / report P&L Actuals: undertake monthly reviews against Budget and Forecasts with the teams supported;
• On a monthly basis, Prepare and present BU balanced scorecards to Management. This includes KPIs and P&Ls with commentary and action plans;
• Generally, act as a key interlocutor for the Business Units’ Management, ensuring financial awareness and driving profitability.
• As a key Finance link to the Commercial teams: prepare variance analysis for the group.
• In the context of specific analysis: Develop, analyze and interrogate the transactional database and data warehouse to identify and communicate appropriate trends effectively to the business
• Highlight Risks and Opportunities and agree any necessary remediations with the business stakeholders
• Develop KPIs, systems and analysis tools as required by the business
• Ad hoc support to the wider FP&A team as required


To be successful you need to have:

• CIMA/ ACCA Part-Qualification would be an advantage
• Economics/Finance Degree or Background desirable
• Previous P&L controlling experience
• Strong systems knowledge MS Office Suite – incl. Advanced Excel
• Financial Analysis and presentation
• Experience of working with data warehouse reporting tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, or similar
• Segmentation and statistical analysis, desirable
