Job Description
We’re currently looking for an Agile Project Manager – Ascend Intelligence Services (AIS) and Marketswitch to join the EMEA Analytics Product Development Team. Ascend Intelligence Services™ is Experian’s cloud-based end-to-end platform, designed to scale and democratize machine learning and empower lenders of all sizes with Experian's advanced data and analytics capabilities. You would be part of the team responsible for automating and streamlining the development, continuous retraining, deployment and monitoring of sophisticated models and strategies to predict risk and gauge portfolio health. Marketswitch® Optimization is highly configurable decision tool that uses a proprietary mathematical process to make decisions across the customer life cycle – from acquisitions and portfolio management to collections and recovery. Responsibilities:
· Works with the AIS and Marketswitch teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organization project and product teams.
· Resolves blockers or impediments to increase the effectiveness of the development team.
· Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and effective communication with external stakeholders and internally within the team.
· Drives UAT process and communicates updates on JIRA tickets assigned to the team.
Qualifications
Requirements:
· University degree in a related quantitative field.
· Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
· Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
· Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
· Ability to think creatively, solve problems, learn quickly, handle ambiguity, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to communicate ideas and results effectively both verbally and in writing, to both a technical and non-technical audience (fluency in English)
Any of the following technical abilities and skills will be considered an advantage:
· Experience with Python and knowledge of OOP principles, data structures, algorithms & design patterns – at least to the extent to triage issues
· Exposure to statistical analysis, applying various machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and data mining to interpret data and solve business problems
· Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SparkSQL)
· Familiarity with AWS, PySpark, Java, Scala, Spark, and data visualization tools
