Position Title: Technical consultant

Job Purpose:
Provide pre and post sales technical consultancy and expert project support in a global capacity. Act as a preferred go-to person for all delivery teams for topics regarding technical consultancy and integration advice for a particular product or range of products.

Responsibilities:
Experience of Technical Consultancy in a service delivery environment
Experience of Lead Technical Consultancy and solution architecture in large and complex enterprise wide integration solutions
You need to be able to:
Lead Technical Design Workshops and Requirements Definition and Creation of specification through to sign off.
Provide expert product and technical advice and support throughout delivery cycle.
Resolve issues/provide insight and direction in deliveries.
Help in the Sales Process providing Demonstrations / Presentations.
To be recognized as the ‘technical solution expert’.
Customer and output focused
Ability to work with a virtual team and a high number of stakeholders.
Excellent capacity to transfer knowledge, train and mentor other resources in the company.
Consultancy skills, being able to elicit the key drivers and requirements from the client and provide the right solution for standard solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills
Effective communication and presentation of propositions and solutions
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to travel around 25% of the time
Open to cultural differences
Team work, flexibility, analytical and logic thinking approach
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following Experian software: Originations, Customer Management, Decisioning products, Collections or Fraud & ID.
Experience in cloud technologies and containerization. Dockers, OpenShift, Kubernettes, Cloudfoundry, AWS, Azure
Knowledge on distributed applications with Hadoop, Sparks.
Knowledge on Machine Learning technologies: R, PMML, Microsoft Machine Learning Server.
Advanced knowledge in XML, JSON, CSV.
Experience in software development in areas such as Java and XML, C/C++, in UNIX and Windows environments.
Development experience on relational database such as Oracle, PosgreSQL and SQL Server.
OS administrative experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2008/2012/2016), Linux (SLES, Red Hat, Oracle, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Networking and security experience (TCP/IP, Firewalls).
Knowledge in integration technologies (TCP/IP, Web service, MQ, ODBC/JDBC, file manipulations) in diverse architecture (SOA, MOA, SaaS).
Knowledge and Experience of the DA delivery lifecycle for applicable Experian DA solutions.
Knowledge of project management disciplines.
