Reporting to the Group CFO, the VP Finance, Global Business Services is a critical function for the establishment and ongoing delivery of global finance services across Paysafe Group. Key to this role will include building and growing meaningful relationships, establishing standardized processes, and educating staff. Location for this role is in Sofia, BG.

What to Expect:

1. General Responsibilities
• Provides strategic direction and sets goals for the GBS Finance group
• Accountable for effective service delivery as defined in the GBS Performance Measurement System
• Stabilizes, improves and implements additional Finance services
• Manages communication with Division/Group executive management and overall Global leadership
• Responsible for meeting all service agreements, customer expectations, and goals for continuous improvement

2. Planning & Organizing
• Sets direction and ensures mission and purpose of the GBS are clear
• Roadmaps activities that drive the achievement organizational goals
• Maintains a mindset of continuous improvement with a lens of flexibility
• Identifies new service opportunities and partners with stakeholders to deliver against these opportunities
• Leads service area planning, goal setting and budgeting processes
• Directs and supports development of metrics to assesses performance of GBS Finance Services group relative to service agreements and customer, vendor, and team satisfaction

3. Managing
• Directs the GBS Finance Services group and has overall responsibility for the effective performance of all processes, tasks, objectives and GBS Finance service delivery
• Manages escalated issues and provides final decisions and/or approval where appropriate
• Ensures integration with other service groups and works collaboratively to gain trust and build credibility by following through on commitments and taking responsibility for outcomes and customer satisfaction
• Participates in Service Councils and partners with GBS to identify service improvement opportunities
• Provides regular status updates to key stakeholders (e.g. Divisional CFOs, Group Finance and COE leads)
• People management responsibilities include:
• Manages and coaches direct reports; leads and participates in performance management processes; provides feedback and counseling as needed
• Removes obstacles and provide resources for team accomplishments. Recognizes and rewards people whose actions support GBS mission and values
• Participates in recruiting, staffing, selection, & on-boarding processes
• Manages individual, team, and process group performance
• Creates an environment that supports and enables associate engagement, retention and development
• Demonstrates personal accountability for establishing GBS as an employer of choice in the community
• Confronts employee issues, manages corrective action process with support from GBS Workforce Development
• Champions and models Paysafe values and core competencies

4. Continuous Improvement
• Directs activities to stabilize services during GBS ramp-up (i.e. operating company deployment)
• Champions and is accountable for continuous service improvement initiatives
• Communicate impact of improvement initiatives on stakeholders to ensure success
• Review key processes, identify gaps between customer/service agreement requirements and current outputs, solicit input from team members and stakeholders, implement solutions and evaluate impact
• Consider impact of changes and improvement efforts on team members and stakeholders, communicate and adjust approach accordingly to ensure success of change efforts
• Implements new GBS services as necessary

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
• MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 15+ years progressive experience in multiple financial/ accounting functions
• At least 3 years of senior leadership experience with multiple direct reports and responsibility for monthly closing for a large multi-function finance/accounting department
• Previous leadership experience in a shared services environment required
• Previous experience in financial services and/or payments industry preferred
• Process oriented with an understanding of business process improvement methods and change management
• Understanding of how ERP systems (e.g. SAP) enable business processes
• High level of change agility and flexibility to adapt to changing business environments
• Strong analytical skills and decisiveness required to analyze situations and data to determine best course of action, make sound and timely decisions, and support rationale for decisions through facts and data
• Demonstrated ability to make positive and active contributions to assist the organization in achieving its key financial and growth goals by leveraging resources on hand (people, process, technology)
• Ability to build morale and group commitment to goals and objectives and mobilize others to action
• Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; admits mistakes, is seen as a direct and truthful individual
