Currently, they are strengthening their IT management team, and we are supporting them to recruit a senior IT Professional to take the position of:


HEAD OF IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICE OPERATIONS


Main responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure and Services Support department;
- Align system, technical, and infrastructure architectures with business goals and security standards;
- Oversee planning and execution of infrastructure-related projects and enhancements;
- Identify and implement process and technical improvements;
- Monitor service performance and ensure effective incident and problem management;
- Manage relationships with external vendors/partners;
- Participate in local and group-level project steering committees;
- Mentor, coach, and support the team members;


Essential skills, knowledge, and experience for the role:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field;
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar managerial or team leadership role;
- Solid experience in networking and systems management, and excellent understanding of network and systems architecture principles and practices;
- Good understanding of data center management and critical applications hosting;
- Experience working in heterogeneous environments (Unix/Linux and Windows);
- Knowledge of database management concepts;
- Strong understanding of IT policies, procedures, and information security standards;
- Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and procurement management;
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level - both written and verbal).
