As part of its expansion in Bulgaria, the company is building a brand-new team in Sofia. We are currently looking for an experienced professional to join as:
CLOUD and NETWORKING SYSTEMS ENGINEER - B2B CONTRACT
Some of your responsibilities:
• Monitor and support cloud-based network services in production environments
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, VPN, firewall, DNS, and load-balancing issues
• Analyze network traffic and perform fault isolation and root-cause analysis
• Respond to production and customer-impacting incidents and support timely service restoration
• Follow operational procedures and runbooks, while maintaining clear technical and incident documentation
• Contribute to service improvements, automation and adoption of new cloud networking technologies
Expected skills, knowledge and experience:
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP
• Professional experience in network engineering, network operations or cloud networking
• Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, GCP or IBM Cloud
• Practical understanding of cloud networking architecture, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, security groups, VPNs and private connectivity
• Solid troubleshooting skills across routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS and load balancing
• Experience working with production or customer-facing environments and handling technical incidents
• Structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Strong communication and documentation skills in English
