If you have:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
Experience in managing technical operational teams
Experience with various Operating Systems, mainly with Linux Technologies (RedHat, CentOS, Oracle Linux or others) and AIX Server including high availability technologies like OS/Application clustering as well as Shell scripting
Expertise in Middleware technology including Apache tomcat and WAS
Good knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift/OKD, Kubernetes, API Management, Service Mesh and CI/CD software solutions
Good knowledge of Storage Area Networks and Virtualisation Technologies
Good Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and DMZ services
Knowledge and readiness to lead the team using Kanban methodology
Very good Analytical and Communication Skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects concurrently
Ability to work on own initiative and lead the team to the successful and timely execution

And you would like to:

Plan team tasks in line with business requirements and priorities
Plan operational initiatives to enhance the reliability, capacity, and availability of IT services and to maintain business continuity
Set goals for the team in line with the company’s strategy and roadmap
Identify and address any knowledge gap within individual team members and ensure that appropriate training is provided
Foster an environment of teamwork and encourage innovations
Be a point of reference, providing all the necessary support to all the team members
Put in place new and amend current procedures and processes to streamline operations with the aim of enhancing efficiency
Make recommendations for cost efficiency and enhancements
Act as a mediator between the system administrators and the service management duty manager to facilitate communication to the business whenever issues impacting critical services managed by the team are encountered
Manage a team of system administrators whose responsibilities require 24x7 readiness to support critical business services. You may be required to provide assistance at any time to support the team.
Help to identify and evaluate upgrades and new products, systems and solutions as necessary within the area of responsibility
Be responsible for Information Security measures within the area of the team responsibility
Participate or provide support to internal or external cross-functional teams
Help and behave adequately as a Team player in the Section Required
