Country General Manager (Renewable energy industry)



Responsibilities:
Recruitment and management of own team to search for land plots in Bulgaria and execute permitting process leading to obtaining building permit;
Personal engagement and responsibility for land acquisition process until recruitment of team or subcontracting external land scouts
Assessment of land found by persons and / or companies working on behalf company in Bulgaria and obtaining a building permit for projects under the auction system (if implemented) and based on PPA contracts;
Contacts with distribution network operators to obtain grid access terms and sign connection agreements;
Presenting planned projects to the municipal authorities to obtain their consent for the implementation of the investment in the municipality and the decision to change the spatial development plan for the area of the planned investment;
Control over budget and timing of all projects in Bulgaria;
Assistance, to the extent required, in contacts with external project developers providing services;
Reporting to headquarters as well as to the Business Development Manager from the International Department of responsible for the Bulgarian Market;


Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Economics or Business administration;
+8 years of management experience in comparable position (Renewable energy industry);
Experience in people and strategic site management, outsourcing project management, and budgetary handling;
Experience in an international company with remote leadership;
Strong capabilities in customer service;
Self-motivated/organized, proactive and with initiative. Strong team-working abilities and leadership;
Management of results through others – ability to manage others by setting clear goals and objectives and later measuring performance against these objectives;
Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
