Our client - a growing international organization - is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking

Deputy Chief Accountant

to join their finance leadership team.

In this pivotal role, you will ensure smooth coordination of monthly and annual closings, support the consolidation of newly acquired entities, and lead the transformation toward International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Responsibilities:
Coordination of Monthly and Annual Closings: Ensure effective coordination and timely completion of monthly and annual financial closings.
Support Consolidation Process: Assist in the consolidation of reports for newly acquired entities.
Transformation to IFRS: Play a key role in the transformation process towards International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
ERP/Accounting Systems Implementation: Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP/accounting systems.
Substitute Chief Accountant: Substitute the Chief Accountant in operational and strategic activities when required.
Team Management: Participate in managing the accounting team of 13 members across different locations.
Internal Reporting: Prepare and coordinate internal reporting and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
International Consolidation: Participate in international consolidation of reports.
External Relations: Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government institutions.
Process Improvement: Propose and implement improvements in accounting processes.
Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and participate in regular reporting to management.
Requirements:
Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or coordinator role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment or group structure is considered an advantage.
Experience with international standards or in a transnational environment is highly preferred.
English – very good working level (written and spoken).
