Main responsibilities:
• Set up and test new cameras, video servers, new firmware and new features to ensure that the new cameras and devices released by global partnering manufacturers are properly synced and working with the company video surveillance software.
• Write bug reports and retest once bugs are fixed.
• Troubleshoot customer problems together with the Support team.
• Update the test cases so they stay relevant.
• Update the firmware on the devices.
Your background:
• Good general IT knowledge - software, hardware, servers, setting up networks and virtual machines, etc.
• If no test experience, then eagerness to move into this field and learn.
• Attention to details and good analytical skills.
