We are seeking you as a highly motivated student or recent graduate, who wants to experience a dynamic working environment during an internship for our group company Lufthansa Technik Sofia on behalf of Lufthansa Technik Logistic Services.

Our Logistic Concepts team is the interface between the global Product Divisions “Component Services” and “Base Maintenance” of Lufthansa Technik and the competence centers “warehouse” and “transport” of Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services. Our role includes supply chain design and process optimization for Lufthansa Technik and its customers in consultation with the central teams in Germany

At the department Logistic Center Sofia we offer you the chance to experience Lufthansa and its global logistic business as part of an international and young team, working on conceptual projects and day-to-day operations.

Logistic Concepts and Solutions Intern

Duration 6 months

Sofia, Bulgaria

Your daily tasks and projects are

- Support the development and implementation of transportation concepts and process operational feedback;
- Support the improvement of our logistic processes, analyzing customer requests and work on solutions;
- Continuous coordination with our global facilities and offices;
- Assist and support the team with the preparation of project related materials and presentations;
- Create and improve KPI reports for customer and supplier performance and quality of internal processes;
- Analyze shipments relevant to specific performance parameters and transport concepts;
- Update master data for logistics processes.

Your profile

- Advanced student in engineering, economics or business informatics;
- Focus on logistics, SCM, materials management or the transport industry is an advantage;
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills as well as team orientation;
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint);
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
- Fluency in English (German is a plus);
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and independence.
