Our client, leading company, operating in development, production and distribution of building and insulating materials, is looking for a experienced, highly motivated person to join their team, in the role of:

PURCHASING EXPERT (PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST)

Key Responsibilities:
– Implementation of the procurement process, maintaining operative purchasing of basic raw materials and products that are essential for the company
– Maintain procurement of auxiliary materials, packaging, spare parts, trade goods, services, logistics
– Creation of procurement plan, conducting market research and analysis, collecting offers from suppliers and selecting the best supplier according to defined criteria
– Evaluation of vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.)
– Administration of the process through SAP
– Creating and maintaining good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time


Qualifications:
– University degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field will be considered as strong advantage
– Proven work experience in purchasing – preferably in a manufacturing company
– Fluent English (written and spoken)
– Understanding of supply chain procedures, strong negotiating skills
– Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system, knowledge in MS Office
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including cross-organizational teams
– High sense of responsibility and positive attitude, ability to multitask and pryoritize
