We are currently looking for Senior Business Analyst to join our UK&I Application Support Team

Position Title: Senior Business Support Solutions Analyst

Responsibilities:
Providing advanced support and consultancy for Experian Clients, Experian Regional Delivery teams and Global functions;
Ensuring systems are available and performing in line with requirements;
Investigating business logic issues, recreating problems and utilizing trace files & error diagnostics. Identifying root cause and proposing solutions;
Delivering fully tested and documented resolutions of incidents;
Communicating with all key stakeholders on the status and progress of the investigation with clear actions and timescales;
Pro-actively recommending improvements to prevent incidents arising and to increase customer satisfaction;
Fully understanding the implications of a release and consequently identifying the success criteria and testing requirements of the release;
Identifying and escalating risks and issues to management and regional delivery teams.
Implementing changes into live environments;
Maintain strong client engagement throughout all project engagements
Undertake analytical activities to help identify how business requirement can be turned into configuration changes, and delivery them to time and quality
Create clear and effective documentation for clients and internal stakeholder

Requirements:
Sales, commercial or business administration, or administration within a fast-paced environment preferable.
Educated to degree level in a computing / analytical / statistical / mathematical discipline or relevant experience.
Proven track record in the field of customer support and business intelligence
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a logical mind.
Strong conceptual ability, both for analytical problem solving and shaping the design of solutions - ability to look at issues and requirements from a business perspective and then translate this into a solution
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated; consistently takes initiative; demonstrated ability to work independently but under supervision.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize their workload, and that of others
Understanding of ITIL terminology and the ability to work in an ITIL focused environment;
A base knowledge of SQL scripting and relational databases
Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in writing reports and presenting technical work;
An innovative and inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems;
Working knowledge of SQL;
Knowledge and/or experience with XML (XSL, XSD, XSLT);
The following skills and abilities will be considered as an advantage:
Specification writing
Facilitating Workshops/Meeting
Experience working in or with Credit Risk teams and their solutions
