SUMMARY:

The HR Generalist, based in Sofia / Bulgaria, works in multiple areas of human resources for the respective region. This includes recruitment, onboarding of new employees, HR administration of all recurring HR processes and the maintenance of local HR policies and systems.

The HR Generalist reports into the HR EMEA Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage full cycle recruiting process from initial requisition to final placement of candidates for defined roles/positions
Be first contact person for external recruiting agencies
Facilitates related new employee orientation and on-boarding activities and acts as important point of contact for new employees.
Manages HR Administration matters & handles employee benefts
Updates and maintains all Human Resources database information/HRM systems information
Partner with HR Manager EMEA and international HR teams on additional projects and employee issues as required
Compiles reports on employee data as needed
Maintains employee files
Plan and manage employee events
Acts as regional HR Business Partner towards local and international management
Coordination of Relocations
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree preferable or equivalent education
Strong experience in recruiting is a must, experience in cooperating with external recruitment providers is a plus
Good understanding of HR processes and business needs
First experiences as HR Representative / Generalist is highly preferrable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bulgarian and English
Ability to work individually and as a team member
Work effectively with individuals with different styles and approaches
Must be well organized and have a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook and internet skills
Proven ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and to gain the trust of others
Understanding of local labor law
Able to react to change and fast developing environments productively
