Our client is an international manufacturer of high-precision metal stampings and assembled components for the automotive industry. Due to the growing volume of operations in Bulgaria, the company is looking for an experienced professional to join their team as Procurement Team Leader in Stara Zagora.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to take ownership of sourcing, supplier relationships and purchasing operations within a well-established automotive manufacturing environment.

Procurement Team Leader:

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Supplier Management:
- Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for goods and services;
- Evaluate supplier proposals based on price, quality, delivery, and service;
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors;
- Monitor supplier performance and address delivery or quality issues;
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and procurement opportunities;
- Support contract renewals and vendor risk assessments;

Procurement Operations & Reporting:
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment;
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements;
- Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with relevant departments;
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases;
- Analyze procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities;
- Collaborate with finance, operations, warehouse, and production teams;
- Prepare procurement reports, KPIs, and purchasing forecasts;

Requirements:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field;
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management;
- English language proficiency;

Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills;
- Knowledge of procurement principles and contract management;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement software;
- Good organizational and time-management skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
