For one of our clients – a multinational professional services company, we are on a lookout for
experienced, detail-oriented and motivated people for the role of Senior Payroll & Audit Expert.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle and supervise end-to-end monthly payroll processing, including data from time
management systems and related documents.
Maintain and update timekeeping documents, rules, holiday dates, and pay calendars.
Perform pre and post-payroll activities, ensuring thorough checks and validations.
Calculate bonuses, benefits, and tax deductions accurately.
Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Participate in and support payroll audits, providing necessary reports and recommendations.
Manage and present thorough reports on audit findings and suggest necessary changes to prepare for external audits.
Analyze existing payroll administration systems and processes to identify and correct deficiencies.
Research and resolve complex payroll issues promptly.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries and troubleshoot payment issues effectively.
Develop and provide detailed payroll and financial reports.
Conduct manual checks on summarized working schedules and their impact on payroll.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience.
Strong understanding of work schedules and summarized working hours.
Proficiency in payroll systems, time-keeping systems, and accounting management tools.
Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian Labour Code Law and local payroll specifics.
Advanced Excel skills for payroll and reporting purposes.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments is an advantage.
