For one of our clients – a company specializing in worldwide analytics and digital solutions,
we on a lookout for experienced, responsible and detail-oriented individuals for the role of
Accountant in Insurance with German, Italian, French or Spanish and English (Remote).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate understanding of accounting principles and a solid grasp of property damage,
business interruption, extra expenses, and other insurance or litigation claims.
* Build and maintain effective professional relationships, including supervising, mentoring,
and training junior staff and interns.
* Provide constructive feedback to encourage development and growth among team members.
* Review documentation, prepare detailed analyses, and submit schedules for supervisory review.
* Oversee fieldwork operations and manage smaller files or portions of large claims independently.
* Accurately calculate advanced coverage details like co-insurance and monthly limits.
* Stay updated on software tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and industry-specific
research techniques.
* Maintain confidentiality of all documentation and proprietary information.
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred; CPA is a plus red;
* 2-3 years in accounting (public accounting preferred) and basic knowledge of the insurance
industry;
* Able to understand and meet the needs of clients;
* Experience in leading teams and delegating tasks;
* Strong verbal and written skills in French, Italian, Spanish or German and English;
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP experience (SAP is a plus).
