For one of our partners we are looking for an Operational Accountant.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintains and reconciles the general ledger, and reconcile bank statements regularly;
• Manages travel expenses, and employee documentation;
• Invoicing, credit control and administration of the accounts receivable and accounts payable process;
• Processing and booking of various regular monthly documents – purchase and sales invoices, cash reports, etc.;
• Participation in preparation of the monthly VAT reports and declarations;
• Participation in the monthly closing of the accounts;
• Maintain cash control and bookkeeping process;
• Keeps up to date on tax, financial and accounting legislation;
• Assists with operations related to the month-end reconciliation of all nominal accounts, accruals, prepayments, deferrals, equipment amortization;
• Assists with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting;
• Responsible to keep all files in good order and archiving them after being accomplished;
• Communicates with clients and vendors regarding any POs, invoices, remittances and other matters.

The perfect candidate has:

• At least 2 years of professional experience on a similar position;
• Experience with accounting software;
• Very good command of English, both written and verbal;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong analytical skills.
