Currently our client is looking for an experienced GL Accountant with English language.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Previous relevant work experience
• Fluency in English
• Working knowledge of UK and US GAAP
• Excellent Excel Skills
• Excellent Analytical skills
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines
• Adherence to local statutory reporting requirements
• Actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification.
• Working Knowledge of Essbase & Oracle
• Customer focused
• Adaptive to change and organized
• Good presentation skills


Main Activities and Key Tasks:
• Prepare accurate US GAAP Management Accounts
• Prepare accurate Local GAAP Statutory Accounts in adherence to the set timetable.
• Produce Site & Entity Reporting
• Full Monthly Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
• Ensure that All Group Accounting Policies are being adhered to for any entities assigned.
• Create and input all General Ledger journals to include non-AP / AR bank payments and ensure their accuracy and correct authorisation
• Approve all payment requests in line with procedures
• Ensure all required statutory payments are made
• Maintain good working relationship with banking partners
• Ensure maintenance of all banking documentation
• Establish and monitor procedural documentation
• Ensure correct and timely treatment of all employee related costs
• Proactively report risks, potential issues or non-compliance
• Liaise with group and external auditors as required answering all queries as a result of either quarterly review or yearend audit.
• Accurately calculate, submit VAT returns and ensure payment
•Calculation of corporation tax and deferred tax accruals on a monthly basis.
• Ensure the safe archiving of all company records
