For our client – a leading international finance institution we are looking for a motivated and dedicated professional for the position of:


SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Duties and responsibilities:

? Reporting line to the Finance & Accounting Manager;
? Reviews for correctness accounting entries on a timely basis;
? Assists in Solvency II reporting;
? Run monthly closing procedures;
? Participates in budget preparation;
? Prepares reports for budget vs. actual, investment follow up and other activity reports;
? Prepares and participates in the investment activity of the Company;
? Meets deadlines and ensures correctness of all types of prepared documents and reports;
? Participates in local regulatory reporting;
? Support preparation of documentation on project related matters;
? Assist in maintenance of accounting and financial reporting structure and mappings;
? Collect and maintain information from other departments to facilitate the reporting process;
? Compliance with corporate and local accounting policies and procedures;
? Works in a team with an actuary.

Requirements:

? Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountancy;
? Daily work in English 
? Minimum four years of experience in accounting and/or finance in an insurance company;
? Minimum knowledge of insurance products; 
? Very good knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations; 
? Very good knowledge of insurance and IFRS framework; 
? Strong analytical thinking, time planning and organizational skills; 
? Disciplined, precise and organized individual.
