We're now hiring a Junior Accountant at our R&D center in Sofia, Bulgaria.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Booking of invoices and payment documents in the General Ledger
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and relevant journal entries
- Executing all financial closing operations as per defined timelines
- Preparing monthly and annual financial reports or analyses in accordance with close and other timetables or per request of the management
- Tax reporting and declaring VAT on a monthly basis
- Maintaining all controls and procedures to comply with local accounting policies and legislation, as well as internal controls
- Assisting in year-end closes and tax declarations
- Preparation of payroll, orders and other forms relating to labor and wages, and documents related to HR, such as official notices, certificates, issuance of employment records, etc.
- Office management, including handling phone calls, mail and bank services, etc.

It would be a huge plus if you have international experience, experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision/NAV, and knowledge of billing and HR systems and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

- University graduate with 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Advanced knowledge of general accounting principles and reporting and requirements of regulatory agencies
- Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian tax legislation, VAT laws, and accounting standards
- Experience with Style is an advantage
- Very high attention to detail, precision, and problem solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
