The Account Security Officer (ASO) is accountable for security governance, compliance and quality of operational delivery for the customers assigned. The ASO acts as a trusted advisor for both the client and HPE account, working with senior management with specific focus to ensure that information assets and technologies are adequately protected, in relation to client business objectives and HPE’s contractual obligations to the client. This person will work closely with the Head of Information Security from client side.

This position is open to candidates with several years of experience in the IT Security/ Audit areas.


Responsibilities:

• Ensure that HPE delivers security services to the client as it is agreed in the contract
• Develop strong collaborative relationships with the client Security team and HPE account team
• Lead HPE Security team, delegating tasks and reporting status of the security levels on customer environment to Account management;
• Participate in Client and HPE Information Security audits, liaise between Client and HPE teams to ensure compliance, plan and track progress in case of remediation needed
• Recommend security improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases


Requirements:

• Relevant university degree (Computer science, Information Security or similar);
• Experience within the Information Technology field (Anti-virus, Windows or network administration);
• Knowledge in information security, ISO 27001, Risk Management;
• Experience in the use of security principles; risk assessment policies and standards; information security best practices, products and technologies; and network technologies
• Fluency in written and spoken German and/or English is a must;
• English or North American cultural experience and communication skills;
• Good business and soft skills;
• A well organized and self-managed person;
• A person able to work both as a team player and individually.

Skills and knowledge that will be considered an advantage:

• Good understanding of governance, risk and compliance;
• Knowledge in information security best practices
• An industry recognized certificate in the information security area will be considered as advantage (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA )
• Understanding of the ITIL Service Delivery Framework.
• Fluency in another European Language is an advantage;
