The Commercial Specialist Team Leader provideс support to the UK Commercial Management function. Working in a newly established CM support team, working closely with the Commercial Assurance Manager, helping set up commercial and contractual management processes and embed these within the organisation. Also providing contract construction, contract negotiation and contract management services to the UK business. Working closely with sales, product and pricing teams to ensure software and services are contracted accurately with minimum risk.

The Commercial Specialist Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the Commercial Specialist operations are fulfilled in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring the business is commercially supported and acting as the central liaison with the Commercial Assurance Manager and Contract Operations Director. Also conducting performance management for the team ensuring development and growth in accordance with the Experian global people strategy

Job Title: Commercial Specialist Team Lead
Responsibilities:
Establishing and running an IPR management process;
Establishing and running a roll on / roll off process covering data privacy and key contractual areas;
Reviewing interim commercial cover and work at risk requests. Overseeing the approvals process;
Overseeing the creation of deliverables and responsibilities matrices following contract signature;
Scheduling of deal financial performance, risk and win/loss reviews in a timely manner;
Monitoring of, and support to, contract change process and other commercial processes;
Overseeing the maintenance of contractual records and documentation - contract correspondence, customer contract information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects;
Drafting resource augmentation statements of work for client sign off;
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness;
Help create a strong commercial culture in Experian.
Requirements:
Excellent stakeholder management; proactively develop relationships by listening to and understanding the customer and giving high priority to customer satisfaction;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

Organisation of team workloads and ability to handle multiple demands;
Change orientated. Puts forward and accepts new ideas and responds positively to changing circumstances.
Word and Excel ability – Advanced
Ability to create clear Management Information reports from Commercial Management Process
The successful candidate will have:
Commercial/contract management role of 3+ years;
Experience in leading teams or projects
Contract drafting and commercial review
Knowledge of software delivery and managed IT services (preferred but not essential);
Drafting and managing contract obligations. In relation to software licencing, software development and the provision of data (preferred);
Operational experience of assessing and deploying approaches to manage risks arising from contractual terms, delivery obligations and service obligations.
Operational understanding of legal terms and conditions. Experience of working with legal colleagues.
Strong organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage deviations in priorities with senior management
Experience in working autonomously in order to solve complex, detailed problems
Experience of working under pressures to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills, with experience in dealing with remote teams being desirable
High attention to detail
An appetite for problem solving and process improvements
