Title: Contracts Analyst

Purpose

Working in a newly established Contract Operations function as part of the UK&I Commercial Operations division, helping set up commercial and contractual processes and embed them within the organisation. Providing contract construction, contract negotiation, contract management and contract analytics services to the UK business. Working closely with sales, product and pricing teams to ensure software and services are contracted accurately with minimum risk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support of the business contractual needs by drafting/constructing contracts in line with client requirements.
Draft resource augmentation statements of work for client sign off.
Work closely with Sales and Consultancy to understand the client requirements ensuring clear commercial reflection within the contracts.
Ensure contracts are unambiguous to enable clear fulfilment of all obligations including payment obligations. Also, enables quick variations to be drawn up.
Provide commercial guidance and education to the rest of the business on our contractual processes.
Reviewing interim commercial cover and work at risk requests. Overseeing the approvals process;
Creating deliverables and responsibilities matrices reflecting the commercial obligations within the contract, following contract signature.
Scheduling of deal financial performance, risk and win/loss reviews in a timely manner.
Support of the contract change process working with the business to draft variation agreements as needed.
Support and continuously improve all commercial processes.
Ensure correct maintenance of contractual records and documentation - contract correspondence, contract information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness.
Help create a strong commercial culture in Experian.
Required Skillset
Commercial/contract management role of 3+ years.
Excellent stakeholder management; proactively develop relationships by listening to and understanding the customer and giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
Operational experience of assessing and deploying approaches to manage risks arising from contractual terms, delivery obligations and service obligations.
Contract Management or Commercial Project Management Office.
Operational understanding of legal terms and conditions. Experience of working with legal colleagues.
Confident and adaptable team player.
Ability to handle multiple demands.
Microsoft Office including Word and Excel ability – Advanced.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
