We’re currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our newly-formed Finance Centre of Excellence which main purpose is to provide the UK&I and EMEA regions with support across management and general accounting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and the conversion of data into management information.

The successful candidate will work within a team of Financial Analysts undertaking a broad range of financial and accounting tasks for the business including creating and processing journals, performing the month end and year end close activities, forecasting and budgeting. He/she will be directly engaged with finance and business stakeholders to develop reporting and insights that inform management decision making.

Title: Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:

Contribute to the delivery of month/year end close activities by:
Ensuring financial data is complete, accurate and all transactions are consistent with Experian’s accounting policies and IFRS
Ensuring consistent financial data quality
Owning selected balance sheet accounts and providing detailed, complete and informative balance sheet reconciliations/analysis
Provide insight into the results of the business for key stakeholders and clearly articulate the drivers for variances to budget and forecast
Production of accurate monthly cost forecasts and annual budget where the key assumptions and drivers are clearly understood
Analysis of transactional data to understand the key performance drivers of the businesses and translation of these trends into a tangible future impact on the business
The successful candidate will have:
University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or relevant numerate science
At least 3 years of experience of general financial accounting in a multi-national business environment in accordance with IFRS
Good understanding of financial management information
Ability to be proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary
Technical accounting skills and proficiency with Excel
Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE will be considered as advantage
Highly logical, numerate individual with an unfaltering attention to detail
Strong stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English
