Currently we are looking for an Linux Administrator - Servers, Storage and Virtualization to join our Unix IT Production team.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
■ Configure, install and manage data backups for applications and systems.
■ Ensure that restore procedures are configured and tested.
■ Configure, install and manage ESXi, vCenter server and SRM.
■ Maintain storage pools and replication.
■ Carry out regular checks on the status of servers, storage, and tape libraries from a hardware and software standpoint.
■ Incident management and service requests fulfilment for:
- backup or archive or restore of systems
- server creation or configuration
- disks creation or change of existing.
■ Performs after working hours on-call escalation and support.
■ Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data centers.


REQUIREMENTS:
■ University degree in IT.
■ Knowledge of backup process and types.
■ Minumum 1 year of experience with backup solutions.
■ Minimum 1 year experience with vSphere administration.
■ Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems.
■ Commitment and self-initiative, team spirit, flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
