Currently our TPRM team is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join us.

Overview of the position

The Senior Risk Analyst, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) position will be responsible for delivering third party risk management services to ensure compliance with various internal controls and procedures and regulatory requirements. This role will be directly involved in conducting ongoing monitoring and assessment efforts of potential and active third parties (i. e. resellers, suppliers, customers, consultants, advisors, etc.) to mitigate risk. Main responsibilities of the position will be tracking and processing third party relationship and partner due diligence documents and associated risk related information in accordance with all relevant Cargotec policies, procedures and instructions, as well as with regulatory rules and trade sanctions.
Communicating and maintaining effective relationships with internal/external business partners as to the results of the risk assessments and improving TPRM standards will be imperative to the success of the position.

Key Accountabilities:

- Perform TPRM-related activities, i. e. partner with key stakeholders to identify, assess, aggregate and document risks and controls, including risks associated with third party operations using advanced knowledge.
- Responsible for identifying and tracking continuous monitoring activities to ensure the risks. associated with onboarded third parties have not changed or exceeded risk tolerance thresholds.
- Communicate results of risk assessments to the respective streams, committees, business process owners and various levels of leadership.
- Apply advanced TPRM and Trade Sanctions knowledge to utilize or produce analytical reports
Support Team Leader in continuous improvement and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures.
- Actively participate in TPRM and Database solutions implementation / change management & maintenance activities, performs systems-related testing, report malfunctions and propose solutions
- The Sr. Analyst is expected to suggest best practices and ways to improve and monitor them.
- Perform Quality Control checks of team’s performance as guided by direct supervisor
- First line of workload distribution and monitoring of case/request completion in support of Team Leader

What you’ll need to succeed:

- Degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in the areas of Third Party Risk Management, in particular database screening services and investigative due diligence research.
- 3 or more years risk management experience or 5 years operations experience in a relevant functional area
- Formal Risk/Compliance management training would be considered as an advantage.
- Hands-on experience working with a TPRM/database screening solutions
- Previous experience in providing training to different user groups, handling escalations, supervising team members, measuring performance and reporting service KPIs, is seen as a plus
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English, fluency in other languages is seen as a plus
