Our client is a large multinational company, a global leader in its field of business. It has established a shared services center in Sofia, supporting their global operations, with a strong emphasis on financial services.

On their behalf, we are currently looking for an experienced GL Accountant with French.

Responsibilities:

Provide accounting services for selected processes and countries such as - accounting for administrative expenses, coordinating month-end general ledger closing, reporting, budgets, consolidation, etc.;
Reinvoicing, recording and reconciling of intercompany transactions;
Act as a primary point of contact for selected countries when it comes to GL accounting services;
Participate in implementing, maintaining and improving internal financial controls and procedures;
Handle ad-hoc requests as per agreed SLA’s regarding time and accuracy, including meeting deadlines and expected quality level;

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar one;
2-3 years of experience on a similar role, with expertise in RTR group;
Excellent command of both English and French languages;
Good MS-office skills;
Working knowledge of JDE or SAP would be a huge advantage;
Proactivness and ability to work without supervision;
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
