Currently we, at Kalmar (part of Cargotec group), are looking for a Rewards and Mobility Expert. The position is consisting of two Key areas of responsibility:

Global Mobility:
Responsible for supporting and providing expert advice in all Global Mobility cases across Kalmar, together with Kalmar’s Global HR network & Kalmar’s business representatives. Develops & streamlines mobility practices to ensure seamless collaboration & execution of Kalmar mobility cases.
Compensation & Benefits (Rewards):
Responsible for ensuring that C&B initiatives are in line with business and people strategies of Kalmar, together with Head of Performance & Rewards. Actively manages, develops, and communicates C&B policies, processes and practices globally across Kalmar. Drives annual compensation and performance management processes.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Hands-on role partnering closely with HRBP’s in mobility cases (Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, preparing assignment compensation packages, agreement proposals, Legal, taxation,Payroll)
Follows up status of on-going global moves (extensions, repatriations) and others to ensure a seamless mobility experience for our employees
Provide support across immigration, removals, tax and relocation activities, including managing our external providers, escalations, exceptions, vendor technology, process and policy developments and improvements
Ensures that the mobility process is followed including approval follow-ups and ensures the assignment related data is up-to-date in the HR system.
Ensures Kalmar’s compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations in all regions of operation
Accountable for preparation of global mobility agreement proposals, quality of assignment process and development and implementation of global mobility related policies, guidelines and processes.
Implement incentive and bonus programs that drive high performance and support achievement of Kalmar strategic targets .
Coordinates benefit management, annual compensation processes
Develops and provides global governance on job architecture and job grading related activities
Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make data-driven recommendations.
Work closely with Global & local HR teams to align total rewards programs with performance management processes.
Provide insights and reports to senior leadership on compensation and benefits trends.
Align on the benefit harmonization requirements with, Country teams & Global stakeholders
Monitors the creation and execution of the harmonization plan of the appointed country or process and applying the global approach and local market conditions where needed
Support Country HR Manager in implementing global practices & service providers
Drive Benefits vendor harmonization projects on a global level and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Support Head of Compensation & Rewards to ensure executive compensation practices are in line with corporate governance principles, regulatory requirements & market expectations.
Implement and oversee global employee recognition programs to foster a culture of appreciation and engagement.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, economics or equivalent
Experience
3+ years of experience within international human resources related roles
3+ years experience in global mobility lifecycle processes and methodologies is essential
Proven understanding & experience in successful execution of the end-to-end relocation and transition process for international assignees
Good understanding & experience of Compensation & benefit policies, practices & trends.
Good understanding and ability to learn social security, pension and taxation related matters in Key Kalmar countries.
Project management experience from international projects with a proven track record
Basic knowledge on employment legislation and contracts, and performance management, compensation and benefits principles preferred
Knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in expatriate and relocation management and administration
