Our client is a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, providing an online trading platform for foreign exchange (forex) and other related services offered to retail and institutional customers worldwide.
The office in Sofia currently employs around 100 people in the following departments: General and Institutional Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, Accounting, IT and Product Development.

The Vice President - Global Regulation and Reporting - will support the continuous development of the Financial Crime Compliance department of our client (Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing Act, Sanctions, Fraud, etc.).
The person has to be responsive to the needs of the business and be able to provide solutions to meet industry standards in an ever-changing regulatory environment.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed financial regulatory research and analysis
• Document and publish regulatory analysis results; business impact assessments for new and evolving Financial Crime regulations
• Make sure Financial Crime policies are compliant with current regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain comprehensive management information and reporting
• Manage the communication for Financial Crime intelligence to key stakeholders
• Maintain a regulatory knowledge base
• Advise, analyze and/or create resolutions on Financial Crime Compliance

Skills:
• Master’s degree or above, specializing in Law, Political Science, or Business
• 2-4 years of Financial Crime Compliance related experience (modeling and analytics is an advantage)
• Industry knowledge of Financial Crime regulatory requirements
• Exceptional skills in gathering, organizing and simplifying complex information from multiple sources and systems; reporting
• Ability to work with the business and build strong working relationships
• Knowledge of financial markets, commodities, forex and online trading platforms is a plus
• Team oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment
• Project management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills in English
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
