We are currently looking for a professional for the position of

Linux System Administrator

The main responsibilities for the position are to:

• Managing Linux RHEL Systems via shell, CLI, bash.
• Perform day-to-day operational tasks to ensure that the servers/virtual server environment and backups are operating appropriately, are available to support the business needs, and any operational issues are proactively resolved
• Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software conflicts.
• Install new physical and virtual servers as needed
• Create server configurations and server deployment, perform upgrades and patching to operating system and security software
• Inspecting systems logs for troubleshooting
• Operate Backup software to ensure monthly and daily backups complete for data protection.

Key Skills and Experience required:

• At least 3 years’ experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure services, Support operations, Monitoring.
• Experience with Linux RHEL systems via shell, CLI, bash
• Experienche with backup solutions (CommVault, Veeam)
• Experience VMWare Virtualization – Multisite management and administration
• Experience with multisite SAN/Storage management and administration
• Very good networking skills (OSI Layers, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Load Balancers);
• Writing scripts
• Excellent communication skills and written and spoken English
• Good team player and a results-oriented mindset with the desire and ability to push through obstacles to achieve goals
