Purpose of the Position
The RTR Lease Accountant will be responsible for the business unit IFRS16 compliance including reviewing and approving new leasing contracts and generating the required periodic journal entries to SAP.
Responsibilities:
Ensures IFRS16 compliance for the business unit
Ensures the accurate and timely completion of IFRS 16 general ledger journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensures ad-hoc reports for management purposes are performed in efficient and concise manner
Handles queries with external and internal auditors to ensure adequate support and audit evidence is provided
Ensures all Record to Report period end closing procedures for IFRS16 are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
Supplies advice on IFRS16 processes and support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects
Requirements:
University degree in Economics/Accounting
+1 year Accounting experience
Fluent in English
German, Dutch, French, Swedish or Norwegian is considered as advantage
ERP experience, SAP experience will be considered as an advantage
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
