For one of our clients, who are partners of the third largest marketing agencies in the world, we are looking for a Senior IT Developer Java / SAP Commerce Cloud (5+ years of experience) who could join the company team in Plovdiv.


Purpose & Responsibilities:
In the team you will develop e-commerce solutions based on SAP Commerce Cloud.
You will accompany the entire development process from planning and implementation to go-live.
You create technical concepts, support the development of software architectures and develop prototypes as proof of concept.
You have a high demand on the quality of your work and coach younger colleagues to improve the team.
You are actively involved in the acquisition of new projects and create technical materials and cost estimates.
You follow current technical innovations in the field of Java and e-commerce and bring this knowledge to the team.

Initial project:
DocMorris, a Dutch company based in Heerlen near the German border, is Germany's best-known pharmacy brand and Europe's largest mail-order pharmacy. Since 2012 DocMorris has been part of Zur Rose AG, a leading
company in the field of pharmaceutical distribution.

DocMorris also includes the Wellsana pharmacy, the wholesale division of the Bremen-based supplier Eurapon, the Hamburg-based mail-order pharmacy apo-rot and the medpex Versandapotheke.

Digitas Pixelpark has been developing and supporting DocMorris' online store since 2009. The platform is based on SAP Commerce in a B2B scenario with a large part of the business logic in SAP ERP, although the store is aimed exclusively at end customers.

The scope of the current project OCG (One Code Germany) is the merging of the DocMorris and medpex platforms on the medpex system. A large part of the ERP functionality is to be transferred to the SAP Commerce System.

Required skills & experience:
• University degree or professional qualification in computer science
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience Java / E-Commerce
• Very good knowledge of at least one e-commerce system, preferably SAP Commerce Cloud
• Very good knowledge of Java/JEE and Spring Framework (MVC, Security, AOP)
• Experience in working with different MVC Frameworks
• Experience in the integration of third-party systems via API, middleware or RFC
• High Experience in system migration and update projects
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Very good knowledge of agile techniques and methods
• Solid knowledge of GIT, build servers and DevOps topics
• Very good command of the English language

Additional (nice-to-haves):
• good command of the German Language
• professional experience with handling big legacy projects

Travel:
The work will be mainly based in Bulgaria with communications with our Western European agency colleagues, particularly in Berlin or Cologne, Germany. An initial period might be required in Germany for training followed by occasional follow up visits.
