Description

The Collection Specialist plays a key role in the management and control of the Accounts Receivables ledger, respectively the working capital, of the respective business.
He/she will therefore focus on assisting the Credit Risk Analysts in the process of Credit limits origination, data integrity checks, performing risk mitigation and portfolio monitoring.
Proactive raising and ownership of all queries via the respective BUs.
Building great rapport with all company debtors within the respective portfolio ensuring a high standard is set for the daily phone and email communication.

40% Hold & Release process - performing daily credit control with regard to Order management

40% Proactive collection of receivables

5% Disputes management - communicate key issues and situations regarding customers to the business and the Credit Risk Team, ensuring that any outstanding issues are escalated to the relevant next level in the organization.

5% OTSC data maintenance support

5% Reporting - assisting the Systems & Reporting Analysts in preparing regular reports

5% Participating in relevant meetings with the business, both Financial and Commercial
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in finance or equal through experience
1-2 years of experience in a multinational and complex environment
Good Excel skills and affinity with IT programs/tools in general
Analytical
Thorough
Independent worker
Affinity to reporting and learning to operate a variety of business systems, tools, and data bases
At least C1 level of Turkish
B2 level of English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in credit control/ credit risk management
Understanding of risk mitigation solutions
Keen sense of priorities, and a mindset of looking for and proposing ways of improving and optimizing processes, systems and reports
Good presentation skills
