COLLECTION SPECIALIST WITH HUNGARIAN

Position summary

As a collection specialist, you will a key role in the management and control of the Accounts Receivables ledger for one or more of Cargill’s businesses in Hungary. You will be in direct contact with Cargill’s customers, proactively collecting receivables to maintain working capital levels and ensure invoices are paid according to the set terms.

You will collect relevant information to the Credit Risk team, supporting their order release and risk activities.

Major Tasks

You will proactively collect receivables and relevant information from clients
You will raise and manage disputes, investigate payment issues and resolve customer queries
You will work closely with the Credit Risk team by providing relevant information related to the order release process and to ensure credit limits are not exceeded.
You will prepare various reports including accounts receivable aging and dispute.
You will be in close contact with Cargill’s business unit to communicate and escalate account issues.
You will actively participate in meetings to discuss and make action plans going forward.

Qualifications & Skills

You have a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent qualification
You are fluent in Hungarian and English
You are good at noticing details in of a bigger picture and enjoy communicating with others/your colleagues
You feel comfortable working in a team
You are not afraid to handle tasks under pressure
You have a confident and professional approach to customers
You’re a self-starter with excellent time management skills
Your previous experience in a credit control environment will be considered a plus, but it’s not a must
