Our client’s main business activity is providing audit and advisory services to international clients in various industries. The company ranks among the top 10 professional service companies in Bulgaria, providing full scope of Audit and Assurance, Advisory, Accounting, Tax, and Enterprise Risk Services. Human Capital Store is looking for a responsible and teamwork-oriented professional for the position of Payroll Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Process payroll consistently and accurately on a day-to-day basis
• Maintain and document all payroll records
• Prepare and file legal returns and declarations to state institutions
• Prepare payroll summary reports and payment orders
• Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
• Attend seminars and trainings to keep abreast of changes in the Bulgarian labour and social security legislation
• Support client HR departments and build strong business relationships with client representatives
• Research, analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies, including requests from other departments of the company
• Further responsibilities cover assistance to business advisory services, risk management, internal control and internal audit, as required

Professional Background and Skills
• At least 3 years of experience processing payroll
• Strong knowledge of labour and tax legislation
• University degree in Accounting (diploma from a technical high school of economics will be considered an asset)
• Effective communicator with good analytical skills
• Accuracy, thoroughness and strict adherence to deadlines
• Strong team member
• Excellent professional etiquette
• Excellent time management, workflow organization and prioritization skills
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Knowledge of the Style software will be considered an asset
• Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite
