Key Responsibilities:

Research and document IFRS technical accounting issues and present conclusions to be implemented in IFRS compliant countries globally
Assist with complex accounting transactions (e.g. business combinations, impairment testing, etc.) and provide guidance to Company associates
Assist countries with IFRS specific testing and documentation in connection with statutory audits
Regular communication and/or coordination with regional CFOs and/or Controllers to complete deliverables
Assist Controllership associates and provide appropriate direction and/or training.
Analyze and present to Corporate Controllership Management the effects of newly issued accounting standards, as well as write related accounting policy.
Ad Hoc analyses for Corporate Controllership Management

Skills & Qualifications:

BA degree in Accounting is required with at least 4-5 years finance experience, Big 4 audit experience preferred
Strong IFRS and commercial finance knowledge required
Experience and willingness to work across multiple international time zones with Corporate Controllership leadership across Americas, EMEA and APAC
Critical thinking and excellent problem solving skills
Strong project management, organizational skills coupled with attention to detail in fast paced environment
Enjoys investigating problems, mining data and coming up with solutions as well as implementing those recommendations
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization. Strong presentation skills that simplify complex arguments
