We are looking for a Reach Compliance Specialist who will deliver services for the Hiab division of Cargotec. This position acts as the main communication point with suppliers and manages the BOMcheck system.
Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, this position reports to the Supplier Sustainability Development Manager who is based in Poland.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
•Managing the BOMcheck system* as the main contact point/administrator/super user
•Contacting suppliers and managing communication with them on (REACH candidate list)
•Acting as main resource during the project implementation and as main communication point with suppliers
•Performing upload of bill of materials (BOMs) in the system and creation/maintenance of products
•Coordinating the BOM extracts within the organization with other departments
•Inviting suppliers to BOMcheck, according to supplier list provided by Cargotec businesses (SBUs)
•Following up on suppliers to register in BOMcheck and declare all codes they sell to SBUs via BOMcheck vs REACH candidate list / escalate towards categories sourcing if needed
•Follow up suppliers in the project scope to do regular updates of the declarations according to new substances added in the REACH legislation (2x/year) and updated in BOMcheck list
•Provide training to suppliers and guide them in BOMcheck
•Report progress vs suppliers with complete REACH candidate list declarations for all codes.

*BOMcheck system is a platform used to connect compliance information from suppliers with final products, facilitating reporting obligations. Cargotec will use it to collect information vs SVHC's (REACH candidate list) and via linking BOM with final products, submit SCiP reports via BOMcheck platform

What you’ll need to succeed:

•Bachelor degree or equivalent
•Experience with managing software systems as a super user or any system experience
•Admin experience
•Experience with suppliers communication
•2-3 years of experience in a shared service environment
•Experience with chemicals/substances would be an advantage but not necessary
•Passion about sustainability and interest in following regulations
•Self management and time management skills
•Good Excel/Google Sheets skills
•Proficiency of written and oral English required. Other languages will be considered as an advantage.
