Position Title: Data Analyst - Maternity Cover

We are searching for Data Analyst (Maternity Cover) who will be responsible for carrying out analysis to develop and deliver solutions, insight, capability and products which benefits our clients and their customers.

Responsibilities:
Independently develop and deliver solutions, insight, capability and products using best practice analytical techniques and following established quality procedures to help guarantee the robustness of the solution
Support client personnel and other divisions within the business line to interpret data and resolve queries during the project
Lead the resolution of data or analytical problems which may impact on results, seeking advice when necessary
Questions results through applied intelligence, seeking advice where necessary
Ensures the quality of all data sent to customers

Requirements:
Degree or equivalent standard, with a high mathematical content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Physical Sciences or related
Knowledge of the use and application of analytical methodologies
Strong PC skills, especially in Word PowerPoint and Excel
Good knowledge of relevant statistical (e.g. SAS/SPSS or R) and IT packages
An innovative and inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems
Good communication skills in English, including report writing and presentation of results
Good personal planning and time management
Common sense/logical approach to mathematical reasoning
