We are currently looking for a professional for the position of

Oracle Database Administrator

The main responsibilities for the position are to:

• Build database systems of high availability and quality
• Design and implement database in accordance to DZI’s information needs and views
• Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Еxperience in database administration, database architecture, or a related field
• Еxperience with database technologies (Oracle, MS SQL)
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good team player with a results-oriented mindset, desire and ability to overcome obstacles to achieve goals
