RISK MANAGEMENT GROUP MARKET RISK ANALYST
Job Purpose and Impact
The Market Risk Analyst will identify, assess and mitigate risk. We seek a professional to help establish risk management procedures and processes to ensure adherence to policies. In this role, you will contribute to determining potential loss due to market movements.

Key Accountabilities
Preserve value through preemptive identification and having a holistic perspective of Market risk to prevent surprises.
Strengthen our risk culture by expanding a risk-reward mindset and enhancing earnings through market risk insights.
Assess and communicate information regarding business risks with functions across the organization.
Participate in developing and implementing controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization's risks.
Contribute to estimating the potential financial consequences of an occurring loss.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent technical skills with direct experience with process improvement and efficiency
Master’s degree, CFA and/or FRM professional qualification
Strong interest in commodity markets and risk management
Experience with programming languages – Python, SQL
Experience trading or analyzing agricultural commodities
Strong Math or Statistics experience/education
Experience with building visualization tools (examples: PowerBI, Tableau)
