DATA PROJECTS BUSINESS LEAD
Job Summary
The Data Projects Business Lead will develop an in depth understanding of the business to innovate significant data driven insights to help business leaders make better decisions and will develop and combine subject matter expertise in key data domains. In this role, you will act as a partner with internal stakeholders and technical staff to execute a business strategy by delivering data & analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements and define the scope and objectives to drive business decisions.
Prepare data and explore new potential data to support reporting and analysis initiatives.
Prepare reports and analysis to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets for values and new opportunities.
Train business users on data & analytics, contributing to overall increase of data literacy in the business
Lead the work on data quality improvements, coordinate with data owners and data stewards of the relevant business domain
Mentor and coach peers and recommend data improvements.
Partner with the team to develop a detailed understanding of the business and offer mentorship or technical solutions to identify business problems.
You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Other duties as assigned

Main Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on knowledge of a programming language and business intelligence tools
Confirmed skills querying relational databases with query language (e.g. SQL)
Confirmed experience working with complex data structures
