Position Title: Experienced Finance Analyst

We are looking for Experienced Finance Analyst to join Experian Global Finance Services (GFS). Recently voted as one of the Top 20 Shared Service Organisations by SSON analytics, we are committed to continuous improvement. Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.

Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of month/year end close activities from FP&A perspective for the dedicated EMEA markets or functions
Produce accurate monthly forecasts and annual budget where the key assumptions and drivers are clearly understood
Navigate with the relevant business stakeholders and finance teams to understand actuals and forecast and agree actions to be taken
Ensure revenue/costs are under control (labour, capex, data and royalties, computers, etc.)
Understand internal/external cost recharges
Prepare regular and ad-hoc MI reporting and provide insight into the results of the business for key stakeholders and clearly articulate the drivers for variances to budget and forecast
Work closely with Finance Business Partners and Finance Directors as well as business leaders to understand revenue/cost drivers and help implement business optimisation and efficiencies
Work proactively to identify and drive opportunities for process improvements within finance and the wider business

Requirements:
University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant science
At least 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience preferably in a multi-national business environment
Very good understanding of financial management information
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to be proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary
Technical accounting skills and proficiency with Excel
Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE will be considered as advantage
Highly logical, numerate individual with an unfaltering attention to detail
Fluency in English
