Position Title: Accounts Receivable Operations Manager


We are looking for a new colleague to join Experian Global Finance Services (GFS). Recently voted as one of the Top 20 Shared Service Organisations by SSON analytics, we are committed to continuous improvement. Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.
We are searching for Accounts Receivable Operations Manager to join our Global Finance Center.
Responsibilities:
• Driving strategy for UK & EMEA AR team within Experian Bulgaria
• Drive succession plans, talent management and retention plans for AR team
• Accountable for development and monitoring of key cashflow KPIs in SSC for UK and EMEA collections. Proactive reporting and escalation of KPIs
• Drive Team and individual KPIs to ensure accountability for actions and results. Set appropriate targets, measures and reward schemes to improve team performance
• Drive Right First Time metrics and reporting to reduce queried debt and maximise cashflow
• Ensure all SLAs for delivery of cash flow are achieved
• Lead on Improvements, tactical innovations and alignment of all country processes
• Be the thought leader and driver of change to maximize use of systems and technology to improve collections
• Set a culture of Cross training and support across the other country ledgers and align processes where possible
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across UK & EMEA to drive business and process change to support Collections activity
• Attend monthly update meetings across Managers, peers and teams when needed

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience of leading a team in target driven environment in a large company
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong controls knowledge with demonstrable ability to ensure effective and continually reviewed
• Strong Customer Service Skills and Values
• University degree in Finance / Accounting / Management required
• Ability to strive for process change and constantly updating procedures
• Proven experience of setting Targets and Objectives within Debt Collection, and achieving results.
• Lean & best practice approach to all activities
• Positive attitude to change and be an advocate for change in processes and automation where possible
• Excellent capacity to transfer knowledge, train and mentor other resources
