The Junior Consolidation Accountant role requires an individual with experience of working in a finance function including knowledge of controls and consolidation accounting, such as acquisitions, disposals, equity accounting, eliminations (such as intercompany) and foreign exchange.

They should have a keen interest in working in a multi-currency, global close environment. They will have attention to detail, strong excel skills and be keen to learn and develop to support the growing team in a dynamic environment.

What you will do:

• Assist with the group consolidation package for quarterly and annual results
• Support the group reporting team in performing multi-currency consolidation and monthly reconciliation of balance sheet financial statement line items
• Assist with the timely and accurate posting of elimination and necessary consolidation adjustments
• Liaison with operating companies to ensure a timely and accurate close, and appropriate understanding and analysis of reporting entity submissions
• Support the wider team in ensuring that the Company’s processes and controls are all in line with SOX requirements and are best in class
• Support the wider team’s delivery requirements including ad hoc project and transformation work and initiatives as required

To be successful you need to have:

• Part qualified, working towards ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• Advanced excel skills
• Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet challenging deadlines
• Experience working in a finance function
