We are currently looking for a motivated candidate to join the team of our most partners – for the position of:

FINANCE MANAGER

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

An experienced Finance Manager, with demonstrable and proven finance skills. An individual who will be able to build a small effective team, who has excellent communication skills and who is naturally focussed on driving improvements in both financial control and reporting. He/she will be proactive, focussed and will have a clear vision of the way ahead, acting as a positive agent of change

Key Responsibilities

• To be a dependable and trusted finance support for the MD for Bulgaria.
• To develop an efficient finance function with high end technology, process optimization and deeply embedded financial controls.
• Managing and developing the end to end finance process for the company.
• Reporting financial results in SAP BPC and narrative in English to the global finance team based in the UK.
• Presenting the business performance in English with the UK based Group management team.
• To support business management with the MD and to assist in clear planning for future growth.
• To ensure cross function communication and the highest standards of financial control and accountability across the various functions.
• Through the introduction of business critical KPIs, agreed with the MD and Group, establish and operate a robust management and control system across the business.
• Managing the annual budgeting process with the MD.
• Preparing and submitting statutory financial and tax reporting and returns and responding to group audit requirements
Requirements

• Experienced as a finance manager at least 2 years;
• Fluent English speaker;
• Experience of building and / or managing a small finance team;
• Preferably some previous experience of working in a subsidiary of a multinational Group and reporting results on a monthly basis into a group consolidation tool will be considered as an advantage;
• Financial control background and proven ability to be hands on and deliver results independently;
• Strong financial discipline, adhering to timetables and providing accurate, complete and relevant financial information and KPIs;
• Solid accounting knowledge;
• Can make decisions and seeks advice/input and consensus;
• Sound judgment with good analytical skills, KPI driven;
• Good and clear communicator;
