What will you do?
As a Data Scientist working on Financial Crime Prevention, you will develop, evaluate, and improve the entire range of Paysafe’s online payments products and solutions. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, financial crime analysts and product managers to develop new science and to translate it into deployed machine learning solutions at scale. You will play a key role in developing new paradigm-shifting ideas and machine learning methods that drive financial crime prevention and business generation. In doing so, you will be a key part of building and driving impact on large-scale online payment systems both at Paysafe and in the online payments technology industry, globally.

Your profile:
BSc or MSc degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field
Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals
Strong analytical skills
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in machine learning
Proven ability to implement, debug, and deploy machine learning models in industry
Experience in at least one of the deep learning applications following: Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing or Speech Recognition
Ability to conduct applied research and bring it to production solutions
Proficiency in Python
Proficiency in SQL
Professional experience with Tensorflow/PySpark or another popular ML framework
Experience working with cloud technology stack (AWS, Azure, etc.) and developing machine learning models in a cloud environment
Ability to write high-quality code
Result oriented team player
Strong communication skills and excellent spoken and written English
