Responsibilities:
Quantitative/Qualitative risk assessment to monitor risk merchant portfolio.
Maintain key risk and data metrics of merchant portfolio to ensure credit and transactional processing quality in line with credit policy.
Assess credit risk exposure of merchants, merchant portfolio and counterparties and take actions to mitigate exposure and prevent financial losses.
Represent Credit Risk at cross-functional working groups and participate in special projects and assignments.
Partner with the wider Risk function and Commercial business units on merchant risk related issues.
General administrative duties to keep business updated on Credit Risk processes and procedures.
Follow the Credit Risk Policy, escalate and report high risk profile merchant cases to Risk Management
Daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting for external and internal stakeholders.
Advise and educate Group departments on all credit risk related issues.
Follow the high standards of the company in regard to quality and timeliness of responses.
Duties assigned to him/her by his/her superior or company managers in accordance to position.

Candidate requirements:
Proven experience in a Credit Risk team with an emphasis on risk related control functions within an online payments institution/commercial banking/acquiring environment an advantage.
An understanding of online payment systems and comprehension of card association regulations, particularly those applicable to merchant acquiring.
Ability to analyze financial statements, ability to produce consistently high-quality information within tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines by planning and organizing appropriately.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent MS Office, Excel skills with SQL and BI knowledge being a strong advantage.
Fluent in English and preferably another European Language
