We're looking for a Head of Credit Risk. Candidates should have experience of managing large corporate and SME credit portfolios, building and deploying credit risk policies, and steering an organization to a loss target. As a leader of a diverse team of analysts covering London and Sofia you will have an exciting opportunity to see the whole picture and help further develop the credit risk management program. You will have in-depth understanding of payments credit risk, can lead risk conversations with commercial and product leaders to build out core credit risk initiatives and mitigations. What to expect:
Be responsible for managing Paysafe’s credit risk portfolio, report on metrics, and manage the business within loss targets.
Develop and produce analytics, MI and reporting on credit risk to ensure it is operating within risk appetite; including the development and maintenance of leading and lagging KRIs.
Lead Credit Risk Committee and Credit Risk related projects; provide strategic credit decisions that mitigate Paysafe’s exposure while facilitating partner company growth.
Be a culture carrier and possess an entrepreneurial mindset to successfully drive credit risk initiatives ranging from onboarding strategies to pricing analysis.
Partner closely with product teams to expand toolkit of risk mitigations
Roll out policies and procedures that drive efficiencies in credit risk, mitigation, monitoring and reporting.
Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with commercial teams across Paysafe to facilitate risk-aware decision-making.

Your Profile:
8+ years of relevant experience within credit risk management, ideally at a high-growth fin-tech and/or financial services company.
4+ years of direct people management experience
Deep domain expertise in successful credit risk strategies business valuation, process optimization, and risk mitigation using data to drive key decision making activities.
Strong credit technical background with an independent mind-set ability to create, lead and implement simple, elegant solutions within a short period of time.
A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with commercial leaders.
An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
An inclination to solve problems systematically via infrastructure and automation.
A builder’s mindset with a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
