Position Title: Global Process Owner –P2P
The Global Process Owner (GPO) provides functional ownership, leadership and in-depth knowledge of the global end-to-end finance processes within the functional area for which they are responsible.

The GPO role has global functional ownership of the assigned processes and is responsible for continually driving standardisation, optimisation and automation and for establishing, documenting and maintaining strong controls within each process, which is critical to ensure compliance with upcoming external ICFR regulations.

What you’ll be doing?
Develop, maintain and implement high quality Global Process Optimisation roadmaps

All end-to-end Purchase to Pay processes, including Procurement, supplier master data maintenance, supplier invoice processing and payment, employee travel expense processing and payment and related corporate credit card and other processes.
Own and lead the global business improvement strategy for the end-to-end Finance process across all regions, via the creation, ownership and implementation of the Optimisation roadmap
Create and implement global standard processes by standardising, streamlining and automating end-to-end global Finance processes at all levels and all regions.
Ensure that all processes include adequate and well documented controls to satisfy external ICFR compliance requirements and ensure regular design and operational effectiveness reviews.
Stakeholder management and communication across all levels of the ---Global Finance organisation for end users, to heads of GFS and regional/country Finance directors and CFOs to ensure improvement initiatives are agreed as well as ensuring that they are aligned with the global digital strategy / vision of the business.
Partner with various Intelligent Automation teams and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Blackbelts and/or use their own LSS skills to create and continually update the Optimisation roadmaps and drive prioritisation discussions to agree the delivery plan.
Improve Finance efficiency, productivity and drive cost savings through process improvements within the roadmap framework

Work closely with various Finance users and teams across all regions globally, to proactively identify improvement initiatives, best practices, standardisation and automation opportunities to be incorporated into the Optimisation roadmap and coordinate these initiatives globally to ensure all are aligned with the roadmap priorities.
Prioritise, initiate and drive the timely and effective delivery of process improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives within the end-to-end process across all regions globally.
Ensure end-to-end process standardisation across all countries and regions and review/approve exceptions as appropriate.
Ensure all changes fully comply with all relevant global standards including Group policies (Finance, IT, GSO etc), external regulation (GDPR, ICFR etc), change control procedures, CPMO project management guidelines and audit requirements.
Measure & monitor process-related KPIs and controls against internal and external benchmarks and identify, design and implement these measures and controls where they are absent
Monitor and introduce internal process data and external benchmarking / new technologies to proactively identify & prioritise improvement opportunities and continually adjust priorities as new initiatives arise.
Own the global process maps, documentation and training materials and maintain in line with process improvements/changes and develop and deliver end user process and system training as needed
Business advisors and process consultants

Use detailed in-depth knowledge of the full end-to-end global process and approved exceptions to provide support, consultancy and strategic / tactical direction for the business globally.
Single point of contact for all Oracle EBS users globally (up to 1,200 Global Finance users and, in some cases, up to 17,000+ employees)
Review all change requests relating to projects, improvement initiatives, acquisitions and integrations relevant to the end-to-end process across all regions; coordinate solution design and monitor successful delivery.
Use internal and external resources and contacts to continually build expertise and knowledge of the end-to-process and global best practices, to ensure Experian remains at the forefront of world-class innovation
Supervising relevant Global Process Specialist/s (GPS)
Supervise, coach and ensure the day-to-day delivery of the relevant Global Process Specialist/s (GPS), providing feedback to ensure effective and informed performance management.

What you’ll bring?
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior roles specifically covering process improvements, leading teams and major change projects.
5+ years’ experience in the finance function in a global / multinational organization
Exceptional cross-cultural awareness, effective communication and influencing/negotiation skills
Detailed knowledge of Oracle EBS or similar global ERP solution.
Experience of working in international organisations with a matrix management structure.
Significant, demonstrable experience / knowledge of:
Best practice Finance processes across end-to-end processes
Managing indirect virtual teams
Working with remote stakeholders and users
Integrating acquisitions into global standard systems and processes
Project management/coordination/governance (ideally PRINCE2/PMP Certified)
Process improvement and problem solving (ideally Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certified)
Effective stakeholder and change management
Working with / managing external consultants or developers to drive on time quality delivery
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (other languages would be an advantage),
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with and influence people at all levels.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
High levels of initiative, drive and poise coupled with maturity, flexibility, and patience
Work independently and autonomously, whilst effectively managing multiple projects and tasks
Collaborative / Team Player – able to work within and between different teams across multiple time zones
Innovative – able to come up with new ways of working to solve new requirements or drive efficiency
